Makes me want to watch who framed Roger rabbit again haha it's a fun challenge to try to imitate style, I think you did great. The extra fluff on his ears is a nice detail

I love the little Rena inclusion! In general, I love the layout and feel of it. I'm having a hard time putting it to words.
I relate in a way. I think the inclusion of the internet is interesting too. Sorry for not saying much of depth, but I like it alot.
Very cool promo poster. I love the style and feel of the mv too. So filled with nostalgia! It's all very impressive. I was wondering if there's any chance of it eventually being a short show as well? Personally, I would love to watch that. Either way, Best of luck!
Thank you so much!! I'd really like to tackle a proper narrative for sure. Just a matter of planning it all out 😅
Wow! These are so beautiful! I adore the way you've laid things out. It's easy to read and understand without stiff boxes. I love the art style, the hypnotic boarders and the sharp contrast with the b/w. It's very fluid and looks like a ton of work. Great job :)
Very cool! I love that they are recognizable but you threw your own style in too. It looks very nice.
I've used both as style studies before, but I really like your additions.
A few fun facts-
Popeye was a side character at first. Ham gravy and olive oyl were the main characters of the strip thimble theater. When Popeye was introduced, fans loved him. So it was him who got a show later on.
Betty boop was both a caricature of a real person, and her first appearance was as somewhat of an anthro poodle. Later designs changed to human.
Very cute! I love the accessories. And i really like the last one, with a scene. It would be cool to see it fully rendered someday.
Does she have a name?
Very cool! I like the bright colors and eye style. The hand is done very well by the way.
For realistic proportions the heads a little big, but I think it's perfect for some stylizations.
A tip I'm trying to implement is: don't be afraid of trying different kinds of lineart to show texteres. Ex: jewelry , clothes , skin , hair, all would look a little different from eachother
Thank you! I'll try to keep that in mind for my next project.
Happy birthday! Congrats on making it through!
I think they’d all make decent subjects for digital works. I could see them being ongoing ocs , or part of a story/comic. I love the character designs!
Very cute design, I love your art style! I think it would look beautiful in a short animation. Very cool, good luck and hope to see more! The shading, coloring and pose are all done really well. Keep it up!
Thank you so much :D
